Celebrating 25 years of Tourism in Tucson with a Shimmering Poster Design

This poster was part of an event campaign to promote the MTCVB’s 25th Anniversary. For each partner who had been part of the organization since its inception, I created an illustration representing the business. In addition, I created an illustration of the three buildings housing the MTCVB over its 25-year history.

The poster was printed on Stardream paper which has a metallic finish on both sides for a subtle shimmer and the type and frames around the images were foil stamped in silver for extra sparkle.

The illustrations were used on all the event promotion materials including the save-the-date announcement, invitation, and event program. A copy of this poster was given to everyone who attended the event.

The illustrations won a gold Addy Award in the illustration category and the poster won a bronze Addy Award in the poster category in the Tucson Advertising Federation’s 2007 Addy Awards competition.
